Annual May Day tours, talks, art and experiences are offered in place around the century old Llano del Rio Coopertive Colony ruins in Llano, CA exploring history and site-responses by artists on site and online in map-based exhibits.


Hands-on experiences featuring unique opportunities to take stock of portable curated collections by director and sandlark Karyl Newman -available by appointment outside of the annual May Day and National Public Lands Day events.

a crowdsourced smartphone tool to report waste and recover materials for creative reuse

 Participate in citizen science by using your smartphone to help repair Blightsites by documenting TRASHED locations along dirt roads and public spaces. The reports populate a public map to monitor illegal dumping and identify sites for cleanup or recovery.
